Creche · Nursery 1–2 · KG 1–2
Our preschool takes children from their first year through to the end of Kindergarten 2. The rooms are calm, the days are predictable, and the adults know every child by name. We follow the GES Kindergarten curriculum from KG 1, but the years before it are about settling, speaking and playing with purpose.

A child who joins us in Creche arrives in Basic 1 already reading simple sentences, writing their own name, counting confidently to 100, and — the part parents notice most — comfortable speaking up in a room.
Class by class
Ages are a guide. Where a child's previous schooling suggests a different placement, we say so before admission rather than after.
1–2 years
Half day or full day. Nappy changing, nap room, one carer to every five children.
2–3 years
Toilet training, first songs and rhymes, colours and shapes.
3–4 years
Letter sounds, number recognition to 20, holding a pencil correctly.
4–5 years
GES KG curriculum begins. Blending sounds, writing letters, number bonds.
5–6 years
Reading simple books, writing sentences, preparing for Basic 1.
What makes this section different
In Creche the ratio is 1:5, and in Nursery and KG it is 1:11 with a trained assistant in every room. Small enough that a change in a child's mood gets noticed the same morning.
New preschoolers start with short days that lengthen over their first week. Parents may stay for the first two mornings. Nobody is left crying at a gate.
We teach synthetic phonics in a fixed daily slot from Nursery 2, which is why most of our children read simple books before they leave KG 2.
Creche and Nursery parents get a short written note each day — what was eaten, how long they slept, what they enjoyed. No guessing at pick-up.
Ghanaian Language is taught from Nursery, through songs and stories rather than worksheets. Children learn the language of the playground as well as the classroom.
