Applying
We admit at the start of any of the three terms, wherever a place exists, and occasionally mid-term for families relocating to Accra.
Most families start in September, at the beginning of Term 1. Places at the main entry points — Creche, KG 1, Basic 1 and Basic 7 — fill first, so apply early if you are aiming for one of those.
There is no competitive entrance examination and we do not turn children away for scoring poorly.
Children applying for Basic 1 and above sit a short placement assessment in English and Mathematics. It takes about forty-five minutes and its only purpose is to place a child in the right class and to tell us what support they will need from day one.
Preschool applicants come in for an informal visit — the child plays, we watch, and we talk to you afterwards.
For every applicant: the child's birth certificate or weighing card, four recent passport photographs, the immunisation record, and the parent or guardian's Ghana Card.
For children transferring from another school: the last two terminal reports and a transfer letter from the previous school.
Bring the originals for us to sight; we keep photocopies. If a document is delayed, tell us — we can admit conditionally rather than hold up a place.
Usually yes. Being behind is common, particularly for children transferring from a very large class, and it is fixable.
The placement assessment tells us where a child actually is. We will then say plainly whether we think they should join their age group with catch-up support, or repeat a year. Both happen here regularly.
What we will not do is admit a child into a class where they will simply drown, because that helps nobody.
The online form takes about ten minutes. We reply within two working days to arrange the assessment or visit, and you will have a written decision within a week of that.

Fees
Termly tuition covers teaching, classroom materials and exercise books, the daily hot lunch, one club per term, and all reports and parent meetings. Uniform, textbooks, the school bus and the PTA levy are charged separately.
Yes. We agree instalment plans with any family who asks in writing before the term begins. Speak to the bursar — this is a normal conversation and it does not affect how your child is treated.
Yes — a 10% discount on tuition for the third and each subsequent child enrolled at the same time.
By bank transfer, by Mobile Money on MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money, or in person at the accounts window by cash or card. Always quote your child's full name and class, and always collect a receipt.

Starting school
New preschoolers follow a settling-in programme: short days that lengthen across the first week, so that the first separation is measured in minutes rather than hours.
Parents are welcome to stay for the first two mornings. We would rather you were there than watching the gate from the car.
Every new child, at any age, is paired with a settled classmate for their first fortnight — someone to sit with at lunch and find the toilets with.
Full uniform is worn from the first day and is bought from the school shop, which opens the week before term. A house vest and PE kit are also needed.
No. Teaching is in English, but Ga and Twi are used in the early years and taught throughout. Children who arrive with little English are supported in class and, in practice, catch up within a term or two.

Day to day
The gate opens at 6:45am and lessons begin at 7:50am. Preschool and Lower Primary close at 3:00pm; Upper Primary and Junior High close at 3:00pm with clubs and supervised prep until 4:30pm.
Yes. A cooked Ghanaian lunch is prepared in our own kitchen every day and is included in the fees. Special diets and allergies are catered for once recorded on the health form.
Yes. Each bus carries a driver and a bus assistant, and no child is ever set down without a named adult present. Routes and fees depend on where you live — call the office and we will tell you whether we cover your area and what it costs.
No. We do not cane, and no member of staff may strike a child for any reason. Discipline is by clear rules, consistently applied, with parents involved early when there is a pattern.
Yes. Parents are welcome on campus during working hours — sign in at the gate. To sit in on a lesson, give the section head a day's notice so the teacher knows to expect you.

The admissions office answers the phone between 7:00am and 4:00pm on weekdays, and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays. WhatsApp is usually quicker.
